The NZCMRR membership (and financial) year is from 1 June to 31 May each year.

We look forward to you renewing your membership in June so that you receive your next Megaphone Magazine, have the ability to vote at our AGM and have your current Membership card ready to race at any MNZ event.

  • Autumn APS Classic at Hampton Downs
    Sunday April 27 2025

    For the Public:

    Come enjoy a day of classic racing free of charge; everyone is welcome! If you like what you see, why not join in and sign-up!

    Please remember that open-toed shoes or children under 14 are not allowed in the pit lane.

     

    Event Schedule: Sunday 27th April 2025 - National Circuit 

    • Gates open at 7am
    • Sign on and machine examination from 7.15am.
    • Marshal's briefing 8.00am
    • Riders briefing 8.30am
    • Bikes on track at 9.00am
    • 1 round of practice/qualifying
    • 3 rounds of racing for Championship points - all classes if time allows. Points will be multiplied to equate to our normal 4 rounds of points racing.
    • Bikes off track by 5pm

    For Pit Garage Hire:

    Hiring as a half garage through the track. One person to book and share costs with others $TBC for a one door pit garage. The suggested number of bikes by the track is 3 per garage, however this will not be enforced. A link will be inserted as soon as available. Garage allocations will be notified by the track prior to the event.

    Other notes:

    Sign-on: Sign in, handing out transponders and programmes will be in the Media Room. Bring your helmet and license!

    Bike Check: This will be undertaken around the pit garage behind the media room. Bike checkers may roam the pits BUT the onus is on you to ensure your bike is done. Ensure that you remove any road equipment or previous bike check stickers from the front of your machine or you will be turned away! Don't forget to have your rain light.

    Riders Briefing: Written rider’s briefing notes will be given out along with the event programme at sign-on.  Rider's briefing will be undertaken beneath the control tower. Attendance is mandatory and a random role-call will be conducted.

    Transponders: All transponders will be provided by the club at no charge.

    Camping: There is no on-site camping available.

    Parking behind garages: Remember that vehicles must not be left behind the pit garages during the event and must be parked in the alloted car parking area

    Fire extinguishers and electrical equipment: Remember to bring and display your fire extinguisher, and please ensure that all electrical equipment has been tested and tagged!

    Riding gear: Back and chest protectors are compulsory at all of our events and will be checked for on the dummy grid.

  • 46th APS Classic Motorcycle Racing Festival 2026
    Friday January 30 - Sunday February 1 2026

    The NZCMRR Committee is pleased to announce the dates and format for the 2026 APS Classic Motorcycle Racing Festival, which will take place at Manfeild over the first weekend of February next year. This will be a THREE DAY EVENT, run entirely by the NZCMRR.

    Manfeild

    Practice and qualifying will be held on the Friday. Riders must qualify on the Friday in order to take part in the racing which will be held on Saturday and Sunday. 

    Key dates for your calendar are:

    Wednesday January 28thIf the track day goes ahead (watch your email!), Pack in from 3-5pm (garages locked 4.30pm) and overnight camping BOOKED WITH MANFEILD

    Thursday January 29thManfeild-run track day. This to be paid and booked through Manfeild here. Overnight camping BOOKED WITH MANFEILD. Pack in for members not running at the trackday from 3-5PM (garages locked 4.30pm)

    Friday January 30th – Practice until midday, two rounds of qualifying. Ride into town square at 5.30pm. Spit roast and Championship prizegiving – tickets $25 per head for a meal. Overnight camping BOOKED WITH MANFEILD.

    Saturday January 31st – NO QUALIFYING ON THIS DAY - Championship Points and Classic TT Racing. $10 BBQ and free beers and Classic TT prizegiving. Overnight camping BOOKED WITH MANFEILD.

    Sunday February 1st – Championship Points Racing. Overnight camping BOOKED WITH MANFEILD. Pack out early Monday.
