2011 CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE FESTIVAL

Spitfire and Kittyhawk Flying Display

Classic Motorcycle Festival enthusiasts at Pukekohe on Feb 6th will get the chance to hear the sounds of 26 litres of V12 Rolls Royce Merlin in Doug Brooker's Mk IX Spitfire and 27 litre of V12 Allison V-1710 in Frank Parker’s P40E Kittyhawk during lunchtime on Sunday only.

A 15 minute aerobatic display is planned for two of the most iconic planes of the Second World War, weather and planes permitting.

Over 300 bikes from the 1920's to 1975 of British, European and American origin, with a huge programme of over 50 races and parades and is recognized as the finest gathering of Classic Racing Motorcycles in the Southern Hemisphere. Riders will be attending from the United States, Japan, Australia and the UK.
