45th APS Classic Motorcycle Racing Festival 2025
59 South Street,
Feilding 4775,
New Zealand
The Results
A stunning collection of historic racing machinery showcased the Register’s 45th Classic Festival, held for the second time with APS as naming sponsor, at Manfeild’s Chris Amon Raceway near Feilding in early February.
An innovation this year, competition for a series of nine National Classic TT Titles, gave rise to a modified programme of racing.
Many of our older members were to be seen around the pits (amongst them on Saturday, our founding member and patron, Hugh Anderson), and overseas friends Bill Swallow from UK and Guy Martin from Canada.
Now, our Regularity competition (Group 9) is often thought of as the poor relation but that doesn’t take into account the Harris Effect. Les Harris turned 100 years old shortly after the Festival and his Rooster Racing team created as much interest in the pits as all of the bright and shiny show bikes put together.
