Hi everyone, to date, this hobby adventure I have been on, photographing classic motorcycle racing has been an awesome time and pleasure. Meeting and getting to know some of you riders, your families and pit crews, and of course, fellow ‘clickers’ has been exciting to say the least. The competitors are free with their knowledge, always willing for a chat and mug shot, if time allows. Getting trackside with camera is the biggest buzz for me. Combining my own love of motorcycling and photography allows my minds eye to wander, learning techniques, updating cameras and lenses along the way. Thank you all for liking my pics. It is encouraging when I receive positive feedback Having numerous photos adorn the front cover of an international magazine like our own Megaphone has been far exceeded any expectations I had when starting out. In the beginning it was all for my pleasure only.

A story titled ‘Getting It Up Down Under’ featured in Classic Bike UK magazine, March ’24. One of two articles I have submitted with photos has also been a highlight throughout this journey. Together, with Danielle Zollickhofer, Editor for Waikato Times, and Partner to Matt James no. 622 PC, we covered the Britten and McIntosh Suzuki which has a Dr. Roger Freeth fame to it. Other notable competitors within the Register with their machines and outfits made up the 5 page feature article. My thanks can only go to a great committee that have supported me over these years, trusting me covering infield with camera in places where it is not normal for any spectator to loiter.
